Lauren Markham is a writer, educator and immigrant rights advocate living in the Bay Area. With an MFA in Creative Writing at Vermont College of Fine Arts, her work has been published in The Providence Journal, Glimpse Quarterly, Two Hawks Review, Third Wednesday, and Sleet Magazine. Lauren is a blogger on immigrant rights for Change.org and has worked with marginalized youth in the Bay Area, Uganda, El Salvador, and Boston. Lauren is passionate about education and the use of art as a tool for healing and growth.
