Since 1990, Bruce Cohen has been the Director of The Counseling Program for Intercollegiate Athletes at the University of Connecticut. He has published two books of poetry: Swerve (Black Lawrence Press) and Disloyal Yo-Yo (Dream Horse Press), winner of the 2007 Orphic Prize. His poems have appeared in various literary publications including The Georgia Review, The Harvard Review, The Indiana Review, Ploughshares, Poetry, Prairie Schooner, & TriQuarterly. He is a recipient of an individual artist grant from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism.
