Valerie Wetlaufer was born and raised in Iowa. Since then she has lived in Vermont, France, Florida, and Utah. She currently makes her home in Salt Lake City, where she is a doctoral fellow in the English Department at the University of Utah. Her poems and reviews have appeared in Poets’ Quarterly, Tarpaulin Sky, Bloom, Word Riot, PANK Magazine, The Gay & Lesbian Review, and several other fine journals.
