Margaret Özemet

Margaret Özemet has recently returned to the United States after living and working in Turkey for the past three years. She holds an MA in theatre from Villanova University, a BA in Sculpture from Buena Vista University and hopes to complete her MFA in writing from Farleigh Dickenson University in the coming year. Her plays and essays have been seen in various places and her essay, “Divine Bovine Dreams” won the honor of Readers Choice Best Essay Award from New Letters in 2007. She lives in Missouri with her husband Gökhan and son Teoman.
