Isabella Martini

A passionate reader fascinated by foreign languages and cultures, Isabella Martini chose to specialize in literary translation at the University of Pisa, with a focus on literature of the English-speaking countries, eventually holding a PhD in modern foreign literatures. She has taught BA and MA level courses in English translation at the University of Cagliari. As a freelance translator, she has worked within the publishing industry also as editorial consultant, project manager, and managing editor. Currently, she is teaching courses in Social Media and Public Relations at the Florence University of the Arts. She has been fascinated by photography since she was a child, surrendering to that sudden instinct that compels her to stop and steal a glimpse of instant perceptions.
