House Channel

Sh. We are chewing on chips watching the house channel.
Jung said darkness is a potential gold mine, so what jewel
is light? In this spectacular house in New Mexico,
listed 400 K, light comes in from all directions.
What if one of us can’t abide a house of light?
The happy couple is walking around taking the tour;
she is talking and he is doing figures in his head.
Mortgages, mortgages, mortgages.
She wants a bigger kitchen and he wants a blowjob.
She wants granite countertops and he wants a blowjob.
Nobody cares any more about science and precision
or mastery or manners. That’s what the guy
on Market Street said before he asked me for change.
For once I handed him everything in my pockets.
