Diarmuid Hanafin

Diarmuid Hanafin was born in Dublin in 1959. He married Catherine Doyle in 1980, and they now have three sons: Dean, Diarmuid (D2), and Liam. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1986, worked in the flooring business for years (including renovating the floors at Monte Cristo Cottage, the O’Neill family homestead) and opened Hanafin’s Irish Pub in New London, Connecticut in 2005.
