Debra Allbery's first book, Walking Distance, won the Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize from the University of Pittsburgh.  Her latest collection, Fimbul-Winter (Four Way, 2010), won the Grub Street National Book Prize in poetry. Her work has recently appeared or is forthcoming in New England Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, and The Kenyon Review.  She is the Director of the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College, near Asheville, NC.
