She is the founder and director of Palovista Residency, a program in the southwest for emerging writers and artists. Her essays and interviews have appeared in The Atlantic, The Paris Review Daily, BOMBLOG, and "The Book Bench" blog at The New Yorker, and her fiction and poetry in Brass Sopaipilla and Digital Hamper.
