Dash Shaw is a cartoonist and animator whose last graphic novel, "New School", was named one of the best books of 2013 by NPR.  His other recent books include "BodyWorld" and "Bottomless Belly Button."  His animated works include the Sigur Ros video "Seraph", "Wheel of Fortune", and the ifc series "The Unclothed Man in the 35th Century AD." His new graphic novel "Doctors", about doctors who enter deceased people's afterlives to bring them back from the dead, arrived this month from Fantagraphics Books. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
