Zarmina Rafi is from Lahore, Pakistan. Her work has recently appeared in Vallum New International Poetics' "Poets from Pakistan" issue." She is the recipient of the Zora Neale Hurston Scholarship, Naropa University (2011), the Humber School for Writers Summer Scholarship (2010), the Summer Writing Scholarship at the University of Edinburgh (2005), and the Chester McNaughten Prize for Creative Writing (2004). Her current interests include labour, repetition, and possible extensions of the line.
