Debut Vintage DB: Kate Sontag's "For the Man in Love with Bare Rooms," DB 4

Read on and rediscover an old piece of Drunken Boat writing, photography, or other artwork that deserves to be dusted off for a second look.   Starting off this series is the poem, “For the Man in Love with Bare Rooms” by Kate Sontag, originally published in DB 4, Spring 2002.   “This morning I make a list of every bare room I can think of beyond this yard of wintered sunflower stalks—“   Sontag is a well-published poet, professor at Ripon College, and co-editor of After Confession: Poetry As Autobiography (Graywolf, 2001).
