Introducing Vintage Drunken Boat, a new series of posts featured every Thursday that aims to shine new light on submissions selected from past issues. Read on and rediscover an old piece of Drunken Boat writing, photography, or other artwork that deserves to be dusted off for a second look.   Starting off this series is the poem, “For the Man in Love with Bare Rooms” by Kate Sontag, originally published in DB 4, Spring 2002.   “This morning I make a list of every bare room I can think of beyond this yard of wintered sunflower stalks—“   Sontag is a well-published poet, professor at Ripon College, and co-editor of After Confession: Poetry As Autobiography (Graywolf, 2001).
