Introduction to Arts
Art is special type of chaos. Even in its most subtle forms, it infects and upends our internal taxonomies and leaves us with some new jumble of things to try to make sense of. The works in this folio exude a particular telemetrical enthusiasm and energy generated from and by this chaos.
In the first half of the folio Ken Ehrlich, Immy Humes, Alicia Eggert and Mike Fleming, and Zuzana Husárová and Ľubomír Panák counterpoint the familiar with the bizarre to invoke a sort of feral awareness (and maybe suspicion) of our physical, cognitive and linguistic infrastructures.
In the second half of the folio Rosa Menkman, PBK, Juanjose Rivas and Vaudeo Signal melt the timeline marker with their bouts of deep raw dendritic stimulation.
Enjoy!
