with white and light seconds
the country rested
the cause of its darkness at the table
establishing for its own sake silence
bestowed upon unaware of where or to whom
and god ascended to his own being
and already allowed us contact
with his own riddles
and occasionally joking
returned to us life
cooled off just a bit
and understood anew
