Patrick Rosal

Patrick Rosal is the author of two full-length poetry collections, My American Kundiman, winner of the Association of Asian American Studies 2006 Book Award in Poetry, and Uprock Headspin Scramble and Dive, winner of the 2003 Members’ Choice Award from the Asian American Writers’ Workshop. He won a Fulbright Fellowship as a Senior U.S. Scholar to the Philippines. His poems and essays have appeared widely in journals and anthologies, including Tin House, American Poetry Review, Harvard Review, Ninth Letter, and Language for a New Century. He teaches creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College and Drew University’s low-residency MFA program.
