Eleanor Aversa

Eleanor Aversa is a Benjamin Franklin Doctoral Fellow in Composition at the University of Pennsylvania. Awards include the 2010 Northridge Composition Prize, the 2010 David Halstead Music Prize, the 2009 San Francisco Choral Artists Prize, and the 2008 Brian M. Israel Prize. Her work has been recognized by a fellowship at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts as well as performances at universities, conservatories, and music festivals across the United States. Eleanor holds an M.A. in Composition from the Aaron Copland School of Music at CUNY Queens College and a B.A. in Russian Language and Literature from Princeton.
