Adania Shibli

Adania Shibli, born in 1974, in Palestine, has been writing fiction and narrative essays since 1996. She has been awarded the Young Writer's Award-Palestine, by the A.M. Qattan Foundation for her novel Masaas [Touch] (Beirut: al-Adab, 2002; US: Clockroot Books, 2010), and Kulluna Ba‘eed Bethat al Miqdar ‘an al Hub [We Are All Equally Far From Love] (Beirut: al-Adab, 2004). Shibli has a PhD in media and cultural studies at the University of East London.
