Andre Souroujon was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. In 1987, André moved to Toronto, Canada to study Economics at York University. There, he became the photo editor of the largest school newspaper in Canada. Upon graduation, Andre moved to Paris to expand his interest in photography. He enrolled at The Parsons School of Design/Paris and started his career photographing for Vogue - Mexico.
He recently participated in a show on foster children at the Gerald Peters Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He is also working on various personal projects including "Papa et Maman", an intimate look at his parents and "The Crypto-Jews of Veracruz, Mexico", which was featured as a cover story for the Jerusalem Report.
