In 1999, Minh Le (Gooseman) was twenty-one when his pet project, Counter-Strike, was released into the world, spurring the growth of PC rooms across the globe and becoming one of the most successful video games of all time. Since the game was acquired by Valve in 2000, it has yielded three reiterations: Counter Strike: Condition Zero (2004), Counter Strike: Source (2004), and Counter Strike: Global Offensive (2012).
