Lisa Sewell is the author of The Way Out (Alice James), Name Withheld (Four Way Books) and Long Corridor (Seven Kitchens Press), which won the Keystone Chapbook award. She is also co-editor, with Claudia Rankine, of two collections of essays: American Poets in the 21st Century: The New Poetics and Eleven More American Women Poets in the 21st Century: Poetics Across North American. Recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Colorado Review, Ploughshares, Harvard Review and The Fox Chase Review. She lives in Philadelphia and teaches at Villanova University.
