Arturo Desimone was born and raised on the island Aruba. He is currently based between the Netherlands and Argentina. His poetry and short fiction have previously appeared in The New Orleans Review, Hamilton Stone Review, Acentos Review, The Missing Slate and elsewhere. His translations of Argentinian and Azerbaijani poets are in The Adirondack Review, Hinchas de Poesía and Blue Lyra Review. A book of poems in Spanish, La Amada de Túnez, is forthcoming from the Argentinian poetry publisher Audisea Libros.
