C(h)ris Reyns-Chikuma is Assistant Professor at Lafayette College. His current interests include contemporary French culture, Cinema and European Business Fictions. His new book, Néojaponisme, appeared at L'Harmattan Press in 2005. He has also written scholarly articles on Blanchot, Semprun, Michaux, Proust, Butor, Nothomb, Malraux, and various aspects of Japanese culture (e.g. Japanese Animation, The Body in Japanese cinema, The Literature of Hiroshima).
