Vijay Seshadri Vijay Seshadri is the author of two books of poems, Wild Kingdom and The Long Meadow, and numerous essays, articles, and reviews. His work has been published in many magazines, among them The New Yorker, The Nation, and The Paris Review, and has been widely anthologized. He has received grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the N.E.A., and the Guggenheim Foundation, and has been awarded the James Laughlin prize of the Academy of American Poets and the MacDowell Colony Fellowship for Distinguished Poetic Achievement. He teaches at Sarah Lawrence College and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
