Elizabeth Block's
first (award-winning) novel, A Gesture Through Time, is forthcoming
from Spuyten Duyvil Press. She recently edited the literary/art anthology,
Documents Between, published by Press Inflammatory Lips. Elizabeth
has poetry forthcoming in Chain; her short film poems, Strewnpackecinderwhateverlight
(which has screened across the United States and in Canada) and Make
Haste, Slowly are distributed by Canyon Cinema. She will be a
2005 fellow in residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute. Strewnpackedcinderwhateverlight (2003), a 16mm poem-film has screened across the United States and in Canada, at festival venues and art cinema houses, including Anthology Film Archives, Athens International Film Festival, and Antimatter Film Festival, and the San Francisco Cinematheque. It is currently distributed by Canyon Cinema (SF CA). The composer for Strewnpackedcinderwhateverlight, Warren Burt, currently has other work on Getrude Stein posted at ubuweb.com.
