collection of poetry, New Messiahs, is forthcoming
from Four Way Books in the fall of 2002. Fresco:
the Selected Poetry of Luljeta Lleshanaku
(more)—which
he edited and co-translated—was released
by New Directions in April 2002. In April
1999, his one-act play, Asphyxia & Other Promises
was staged at LaMaMa, E.T.C. , and in December
1999 it was remounted at The Piano Store in
Manhattan's lower east side. Henry Israeli
and his wife, Joanna Goodman, are co-founders
of Saturnalia Books www.saturnaliabooks.com.
They live in New York City with their daughter,
