Alberta Turner is a prior winner of the Cleveland Arts Prize, is an editor at Field Magazine, and is the author of To Make a Poem and 50 Contemporary Poets: The Creative Process. She is a professor of English at Cleveland State University. She lives in Oberlin, Ohio.
