Lance
Shields (lance@opussoup.com)
spent most of the 1990's creating digital and installation art while
living and working in Osaka, Japan. Through his website http://www.opussoup.com
he teeters between contradictory modes of user interactivity, tv-like
viewing, and non-linear storytelling in the digital space. His work
Telephony is currently being featured in Boston Cybers Arts Gallery
(http://gallery.bostoncyberarts.org/)
and has been shown in A List Apart (http://www.alistapart.com)
and Kaliber 10000 (http://www.k10k.net).
To pay the bills he works as an art director/designer/flash artist
at Agency.com in San Francisco. He's currently living in an old brown
house surrounded by trees in Berkeley, CA with his son and wife. |
