Barbara
F. Lefcowitz has published six books
of poetry, a novel, and individual poems, stories, and essays in over
350 journals; she has won writing awards from the National Endowment
for the Arts and the Rockefeller Foundation, among others. A native
of Brooklyn, she currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland and is trying
to fill in the many blanks in her knowledge of science for a book-length
essay on Permanence and Change.
