It is rare to be invited to gaze at over 100 moments of naked intimacy, to be a voyeur. Take unabashed pleasure in examining this wallpaper of fleshy diversity. While voyeurism is the entry point to “Personal Taste,” over time the work becomes increasingly about the viewer rather than the participants.

I want to set up a tension between visual consumerism and self reflection, encouraging the viewer to ask:

• • How do I feel about artificial connections made by proximity of moments?
• • Do I have judgments about those who are different from me?
• • Am I attracted to moments that aren’t consistent with my sexuality?
• • Does this worry me?
