Ufuk Gokkaya

Ufuk Gokkaya has been writing, directing and editing short independent films for over five years. His short films have been screened at venues such as Candid Projection Room, Non-Multiplex Cinema, Vibe Bar & Screen, Short Wave Cinema, Roxy Bar & Screen, and the London Kurdish Film Festival. Having graduated with a first honors Film & Video Arts degree in 2008, He has engaged in a number of working environments from acclaimed filmmaker Michael Winterbottom’s company Revolution Films to September Films based in Hammersmith and BBC White City. Ufuk has also been an instrumental figure in running a once a month short film screenings night Rotoreliefs for emerging independent filmmakers. The Boys who Saved the World, based on the novel by Sam Mills, is to be Ufuk's first feature film production.
