Meg Day

Meg Day is a nationally-awarded spoken word artist, published poet & badass arts educator who hails from San Diego but is currently teaching young poets to hold their own at mics around the San Francisco Bay Area with WritersCorps & Youth Speaks. Meg just completed her MFA at Mills College in Oakland and was recently named a 2010 Lambda Fellow. Her poems have appeared most recently in The Greenbelt Review, Generations, and ZYZYYVA. She lives & writes in Alameda with her sweet, dumb dalmatian.
