Marcela
Sulak
’s poems have recently appeared in Fence, The Indiana Review, The Notre Dame Review, River Styx, and Quarterly West. Her chapbook is
called Of All the Things that
Don’t Exist, I Love You Best (Finishing Line Press, 2008).
She has translated three book-length poetry collections: Bela-Wenda, by Mutombot
Nkulu-N’Sengha, from Congo-Zaire (Host Publications, 2009), May, by Karel Hynek Macha, and Bouquet by Petr Eben, both from the
Czech Republic (Twisted Spoon Press, 2005, 2010). She is an assistant
professor of literature at The American University in Washington, DC.
