Zanni Schauffler was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She now lives in Enterprise, Oregon where she is program coordinator for a small, literary nonprofit called Fishtrap Inc. She also waitresses and does data entry on the side. Zanni is working on her first book manuscript. She received her MFA at the University of California, Irvine, her Masters in Writing from Portland State and her undergraduate degree from the University of Montana. Her poems have been published in The Iowa Review, FIELD, and Black Warrior Review, among others.
