Jami Macarty is a movement therapist and writer living between the Northwest coastal rainforest and desert of the Southwest. When in the desert, she teaches proper alignment, and when in the rain forest, she teaches poetry at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, BC. Poems from her first manuscript, which is under construction, have been published or are forthcoming in The Café Review, Cimarron Review, Diagram, Interim, Mudfish, Spork, and Volt, among other necessary journals.
