Harriet Levin ’s first book of poems, The Christmas Show (Beacon Press) was chosen by Eavan Boland for a Barnard New Women Poet’s Prize and received an Alice Fay di Castagnola Award from the Poetry Society of America. New work appears or is forthcoming in Ploughshares, Gulf Coast, 32 Poems, Cimarron Review (nominated for a Pushcart), Harvard Review, Kenyon Review and Many Mountains Moving. She lives in Philadelphia where she is Writing Program Director at Drexel University and is organizer of the 2009 Read-A-Thon to support the Lost Boys of Sudan Reunion Project.
