Ava C. Cipri is a member of the Pittsburgh Artist Registry; she teaches at Duquesne University and facilitates writing workshops at the Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery (POWER). An active participant in Pittsburgh’s art scene, she is an educator at the Mattress Factory Museum and volunteers for the Pittsburgh Irish Classical Theater. Ava has an MFA from Syracuse University, where she served on the staff of Salt Hill. Recently interviewed by Jan Beatty on WYEP’s Prosody, the show’s podcast is available through iTunes.
