Nicole Broadhurst is author of five books, for which she is soon to seek a publisher. She received the Eve of St. Agnes Award from Negative Capability and has twice been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. At work on a book-length poem titled Sub Standard, her poems have appeared in The Caribbean Writer, The Miami Herald's Tropic Magazine, The Kenyon Review, Visions-International, Prairie Schooner, Poet Lore, Vox, Mangrove, and Maverick, among others. She recently left South Beach where she lived for several years with her uncle and her dog, Biscayne, aka, Pretty Boy Floyd.
