Maureen Alsop is the author of two chapbook collections, Origin of Stone (Liana Press), Nightingale Habit (Finishing Line Press), and two full collections of poetry, Apparition Wren (Main Street Rag), and The Diction of Moths which is forthcoming in 2009. Her poems have appeared or are pending in various publications including: Agni, Tampa Review, New Delta Review, The Cortland Review, Handsome, Barrow Street, Typo, Columbia Journal and Texas Review, among others. Her poetry has been nominated four times for the Pushcart Prize. She is the winner of Harpur Palate's Milton Kessler Memorial Prize for Poetry and Bitter Oleander’s Frances Locke Memorial Award for Poetry.
