Elizabeth Kadetsky
’s fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in TriQuarterly, Best New American Voices, the Pushcart Prizes anthology, Antioch Review, and Gettysburg Review, and her creative nonfiction and lyric essays in Antioch Review, Santa Monica Review, and Going Hungry—an anthology of memoir-writing from Vintage/Anchor. The recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship in creative writing to India, she is the author of First There Is a Mountain, a memoir of her time there (Little Brown, 2004). She has received artists grants from PEN American Center and the Dodge Foundation, and fellowships to MacDowell Colony, Ucross Foundation, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, Camargo Foundation, and the St. James Centre for Creativity, in Valletta, Malta. Beginning in the fall of 2009, she will be visiting writer on the creative writing faculty at Penn State University. Her website can be found here.
