Gabriel Houck has lived the last three years in Iowa City with his inspirational Keeshound, Logan. Originally from New Orleans, he holds a BA from the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University, an MFA in writing from the California Institute of the Arts, and an MFA in nonfiction from the University of Iowa. He is currently working on a series of essays about a Creation Museum in Kentucky, waiting with Logan for the rain to let up so that they can head outside into the world.
