Xu Zhongmin
As a teenager during the Cultural Revolution, Xu began working with a traditional Chinese theater company before graduating from Sichuan Fine Arts Academy, where he began to explore printmaking, sculpture, painting, and experimental art. A chair of the Badicao Arts Society until its dissolution, Xu's work has been exhibited widely in both China and internationally, receiving various awards including the Pollock-Krasner Award, The Guinness Prize for best first-time exhibitor at the Royal Academy, and others.
