Rabindra K. Swain was born in 1960 and has published three books of poems, Once Back Home, A Tapestry of Steps, and Severed Cord, as well as The Poetry of Jayanta Mahapatra: A Critical Study and two books of translation from Oriya: Bahubreehi and Dear Jester and Other Stories. He is managing editor of Chandrabhaga and reviews books for the Contemporary Poetry Review.
