Ian Iqbal Rashid is an Indian poet, screenwriter, and filmmaker raised in Canada and living in London. His books of poetry include Black Markets, White Boyfriends and Other Acts of Elision, Song of Sabu, and The Heat Yesterday. He has written and directed the films Touch of Pink and most recently How She Move, and has written for television series such as London Bridge and This Life. Rashid was nominated for the Gerald Lampert Award, and has won a number of festival awards for his films.
