Dr. Sumatheendra Nadig was born in 1935. He is a poet, critic, short story writer, and translator. A graduate from Temple University and friend of Ginsberg, Ramanujan, and Ezekiel, his poems “Dampatya Gita” and “Panchabhut” have been compared to the Waste Land, Four Quartets, and Duino Elegies.
