Basir Sultan Kazmi is a poet, teacher, playwright, and director. He is a founding member of Carvan-e-Adab UK and Mini Mushaira, and has awards for writing. His books include the poetry collection Moj-e-Khayal, the Urdu drama Bisaat, the translation The Chess Board, and jointly with Debjani Chatterjee and Simon Fletcher, A Little Bridge.
