Suresh Dalal was born in 1932 in Mumbai, is a five time recipient of the Gujarat Government Award for his contribution to Gujarati literature and many other important literary awards. In addition to his publishing house, he edits the Gujarati poetry journal Kavita and the literary quarterly Vivecana.
