Eyes, Eyes that See



Buddhadhasa Bhikkhu was a Thai monk of the forest tradition, born in 1903, who founded the “Suan Mokh” (Garden of Liberation) reform movement. He received five honorary doctorates from Thai universities and published many books of poetry and prose, including Extinction without Remainder (1967), Me and Mine (1990), and Heartwood of the Bodhi Tree (1994). He passed away in 1993.
