Gabriela Jauregui is the author of Controlled Decay  (Akashic Books/Black Goat Press, 2008) and co-author of Taller de Taquimecanografía  (Tumbona ediciones 2012), her collaborative chapbook Leash Seeks Lost Bitch, with Allison Katz and Camilla Wills is forthcoming from Song Cave and her first collection of short stories is forthcoming from Sexto Piso. She is the recipient of a Soros New American fellowship and a Jovenes Creadores grant from the Mexican national fund for culture as well as co-founder and editor of the publishing collective Sur+ ediciones in Mexico.
