Francesca Grossman

Francesca Louise Grossman is a writer and teacher in the Boston area. Her work includes contributions to The New York Times Motherlode Blog, Brain, Child Magazine, The Huffington Post, Ed Magazine, Glasscases.com, S3 Magazine, and Interview Magazine. She graduated from Stanford University with a BA and MA in education and from Harvard University with a doctorate in educational leadership, with a focus on writing instruction. Francesca runs the Supporting Women Artists Project (SWAP), a writing and art residency for women, and teaches at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, among other places. She lives in Newton, MA, with her husband and two children. She is currently working on her first novel, and a memoir of the same title: In Remission, Life and Love in the In Between.
