Christopher Brunt is a poet and fiction writer whose work appears in Ploughshares, The Bat City Review, MAKE: A Chicago Literary Magazine, and other publications. He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Houston Honors College, where he teaches the "great books" in a course un-ironically called The Human Situation. He lives in Houston with his wife, the writer Chanelle Benz.
